Ramshorn snails, found all over the world, come in brown, red and sort of clear that looks blue. Ones found locally appear to be just fine in home aquaria and can be found in all colors.
Native to the South East region of the United states this is now found all over the great lakes and even vary far north of there; it's considered invasive and does not do well in aquaria at tropical temperatures. This is a bit of a shame as it's one of the most brightly colored of all aquatic snails.
