"The purpose of government megaprojects is not to have a working entity, it is to funnel public funds into the pockets of politicians and their cronies in the construction and investment industry. That part has worked beautifully, and the project no longer serves this purpose. So now you go and sell it to US or Chinese investors as "Energy Futures" or "Gold Futures" (in case of Belo Sun Mining), if the project then still does not turn a profit it does not matter. There are enough middle class people invested in those Mutual Funds and investments that you can sell them many times over." -- Oliver Lucanus, Feb 9, 2017.
