The late Gunther Schmida, a pioneer in the photography of Australian wildlife and the greatest photographer of Australian and New Guinea Fish. For all his contributions has been recognised by the Governor General. Thanks to all who made this happen. A bitter sweet recognition but deserving of celebration by his family, all in the hobby and especially ANGFA who have benefitted so much from Gunthers contributions.
