2 days later. Trimmed, remove most of the algal biomass, CO2 is good. I sometimes add algaefix to polish off any left overs. Shrimp do not like it, but most survive. Alternatively, you can net them out for the treatment and then add back afterwards. Tank never got it again. I've fixed client hair algae tanks many times doing the same thing.
