In 2018 The West African Cichlids Group collected in Ghana. Five different looking aquatic ferns were brought back as well. Time will tell whether these represent different morphotypes or are in fact different species, the collecter says the plants are representative of the parents and are not all fragments of one giant clump of a single species. Eiter way this represents a large step forward in the culture of African water ferns in the hobby.
