AUS

From my earliest memories as a kid charlie has always had lots and lots of orange australe. I remember as a kid going on about this new species or that new species and Charlie's response was: 'you can always sell orange australe'. Turns out he was right about that.

Charlie's focus at this point was catfish, L numbered plecos, and he'd had fry from half a dozen species when these photos were taken.

Gularis

Charlie has been breeding gularis for about as long as there have been gularis.

Swords

Unhappy with the state of swordtails, Charlie was doing something about it.

Tetras

Charlie was breeding cardinals and congo tetras before I had my first goldfish and in my youth I remember tanks full of emperor tetras, so it was a joy to see the black emperor, which I'd never seen before, during this visit.
